أهلاً وسهلاً
Dr. Wakas Abdulrazzaq speaks fluent Arabic. Not a phrase or two, and not through a staff member or a translation app. He treats Arabic-speaking patients in Arabic, explains diagnoses in Arabic, and answers questions in Arabic. He is also a board-certified orthodontist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, practicing at The Orthodontic Gallery in Riverview, Florida.
Tampa Bay has a long-established Arabic-speaking community, and we are glad to serve it. Why It Matters in a Clinical Conversation
Many patients speak enough English for daily life and still find medical appointments difficult. Clinical conversations are where language runs out first. Orthodontic treatment involves consent, alternatives, trade-offs, timelines, and money, and those are precisely the discussions where a half-understood answer leads to a decision someone regrets.
It also matters for families. Parents who prefer Arabic frequently end up relying on a bilingual child to interpret medical information, which is unfair to the child and unreliable for the parent. That is not necessary here.
